St. Kitts’ “Summer of Fun” is Back and Better Than Ever For 2024

Basseterre, St. Kitts (6 May 2024)—The St. Kitts Tourism Authority is gearing up for another summer of notable events across the Federation. With an abundance of opportunities to explore the island's rich heritage, the “Summer of Fun” offers a chance to experience the very best of what makes St. Kitts stand out from other Caribbean destinations. From music and adventure to culture and cuisine, visitors can delight in the myriad of ways to soak up all St.Kitts has to offer.

Summer of Fun of Events for 2024:

  • Kitts Music Festival (22-30 June): With a lineup this year that is more diverse than ever, the 26th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival will bring A-list musicians, island visitors, and locals together for a powerful, vibrant celebration of exhilarating live music at the Kim Collins Athletic Stadium. This year’s lineup includes Mary J. Blige, Small Axe band, iTEBULOUS, Rick Ross, 450, Freddie Jackson, Adam O, Pumpa and many more.
  • Nevis Mango Festival (5-7 July): Celebrating 10 years, this event invites travellers to indulge in delicious Nevis flavours. Revelers can immerse themselves in all things mango, from cooking and mixology competitions to tastings and chef-created delights.
  • Kitts and Nevis Restaurant Week (11-21 July): Restaurant Week highlights the best of the best in cooking and grilling. Across the islands, travellers can enjoy special menus crafted around a local theme ingredient at fixed special prices. This year's featured local ingredient is Papaya. This year will also feature Grillfest, a competition between local grillers hosted at Frigate Bay Lawn.
  • Nevis Culturama (25 July- 6 August): This will be the 50th anniversary of the premier event of the Nevis season! This event-packed summer festival will showcase traditional folk art in a variety of forms. Music, pageants, poetry and parades will be the highlights of the 10 day event.
  • CPL T20 Cricket (21 August- 8 September): Kitts is set to host several matchups during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2024 season, set to take place at Warner Park, St Kitts. Matches will be played in a Double Round round-robin method, and as the most popular sport on the island, expect to see hundreds of loyal locals ready to root for their team.

into our vibrant community, where they can immerse themselves in an array of enriching experiences.”

Travellers who visit St. Kitts during the Summer of Fun will no doubt feel the rich heritage and culture of the Federation. Beautiful views, friendly locals, delicious food, and a rich history are all waiting to be experienced. There is something for everyone, from history buffs who can view UNESCO-recognized sites to adventure lovers who can find scuba diving, extreme hiking, and ziplining. A country this thrilling has to be seen to be believed.
