From Soil to Soul
At 1,500 feet above sea level, Liamuiga Natural Farms is a privileged place—a few priceless acres of fertile farmland surrounded on all sides by federally protected rainforest. The land is protected in a different way here—cultivated by dedicated farmers who grow what’s local, and little else.
Vegetable broth is simmered in yabba pots with noodles and carrots, herbs and spices, sweet yams and green bananas. Everything tastes better when you know it was grown just a few feet away.
Everything at the farm is completely natural. Farm-fresh food is served on banana leaf plates, and eaten with calabash spoons. Nothing is wasted. Everything is cherished.
Journey to
the Mountaintop
At the base of Phillips Mountain, an ex-military truck picks you up to start the journey toward the farm. The natural roads offer an intimate view of the lush rainforest; catch glimpses of native flora and fauna on the way up, and let yourself forget everything you’re leaving behind below.

The Herb
Garden
Though rich coffee beans are Liamuiga Natural Farms’ primary crop, the rich soil—nurtured with sustainable permaculture farming—also produces a variety of herbs and spices. A stroll through the gardens will reveal glimpses of aromatics like rosemary, sage, and thyme.

Farm to Table
Lunch
Brothy noodles, rum punch, and coffee ice cream—made with farm-grown beans—are all on the menu at the LNF farm-to-table lunch. Dig into fresh meals served on banana leaf plates, each dish as nourishing and delicious as the last.

A Night in
the Cabin
Spend an evening or more in the company of the pristine mountain air and chattering vervet monkeys at the farm’s fully sustainable greenheart cabin. The only item on the official itinerary is to rest and recenter, a goal easily achieved with jogs along the farm’s perimeter, zen yoga sessions on the patio, and walks through the farm-acy teeming with medicinal herbs.
